Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle are engaged, Britain’s Clarence House announced Monday.The couple stepped out for their first photo-op following the engagement, holding hands and beaming. The red-haired royal said he knew she was the one “since the very first time we met.”The statement from the palace read: “His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle.“The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.”The prince and his soon to be bride did not linger long for photos, although Markle obligingly flashed the ring when prompted by press.
